Broadband benchtop NMR comprehensively characterises battery electrolytes. Oxford Instruments X-Pulse NMR instruments are now being widely applied across battery R&D and QC - from accelerating higher performance electrolyte formulation development to failure analysis of manufactured batteries.

Recently, we sat down with Dr Gregory Rees from the Prof. Sir Peter Bruce Group, Centre for Energy Materials Research, Department of Materials, University of Oxford to discuss how he is using X-Pulse to develop more sustainable, safer, and higher capacity battery materials.
